Old City Walls

Today I rode a bike in France....on French roads. Let me just tell you, the roads here are small and cars drive fast. The sidewalks are even smaller so I was pretty much forced to ride on the road. Oh and did I mention that only one of the brakes partially worked on the bike? Yes, it was so terrifying. But obviously I am alive since you are reading this new post. I will probably do it again and you will hear about it.

Last week I had a whole day for myself so I decided to explore more of Rennes. First I went to the Mordelles Gates. It was built in 1440 and was the main entrance to the city of Rennes. It has since been destroyed along with most of the wall. Here are a few pictures of what has remained:

I wanted to explore more of the Parc du Thabor and I found the coolest spot. It kinda feels like you're in a forest. It's awesome. Here's some pictures:
