Pumpkins

So my plans were changed for this weekend. We ended up not being able to go to Paris due to an emergency. But, we made up for it by carving PUMPKINS!!! Guilhem and Aymeric are carving there pumpkins at school so they just helped Maelle-Marie and I carve our pumpkins. It was a lot of fun! I'm not very creative but I was satisfied with my ghost....Can you tell that's what it is? Please say yes. :)

Marie-Faustine didn't want to smile/look at the camera for this picture. haha

We are very concentrated on our work!

The end results!

I went and saw a movie yesterday. It's called "Un Monstre A Paris." It was a very cute movie and I highly recommend it. If it's not in the U.S. I'm buying it and sending it so I will have it when I get back. It's about a monster that was accidentally created and everyone perceives him as this scary terrible thing. One character soon finds out that he is not what he seems to be. It turns out he is very nice and has an amazing singing voice! He can't talk at all, but he can form words when he is singing. Anyways, I won't give away the ending but basically he is being hunted down and people don't realize that he isn't really a monster. Oh, and this movie was in French but I understood it!!! Yay!

I didn't have time to find a recipe I wanted to make for Wednesday so I decided to just make one up. Yes, I just kinda went with the flow. But it was pasta which is really is to go with the flow. You just add spices and sauce. Some meat if you prefer. I added some tomatoes. Which by the way I use to hate tomatoes before I came here but now I love them. But the pasta turned out pretty good. Let's say it was the best pasta I've made so far, but I've definitely had better. I've still got a lot to learn. I'm gonna try and lean towards just making french dishes from now on though. We'll see how it goes.

J'aime faire la cuisine francaise!! Si seulement je peux parler francaise! (I think I did that sentence very wrong.) Et aussi ecrire francaise.

Go you for going with the flow in cooking! I never used to do that but now I do a lot. It turns out pretty good but not the best ever--practice practice, I guess :) Btw, you look so pretty! Your hair is so long and I even love the orange sweater (and I am not an orange person. I have one orange piece of apparel bc I got it for free).

Keep posting--I love it!
