Spiders, Sunburns and Sandcastles

Another day at the beach, but it was just as eventful as the other days. Today we were very excited because it was suppose to be clear skies. We ate lunch on the beach and then the kids were off learning how to sail. While we were waiting for the kids to come back Annalise grabbed a towel and she found a surprise....a very big, black surprise. Yes....it was a spider of course. It was huge. And we freaked out. After a long time of Annalise, not me, trying to get it off the towel she finally got it off with a shoe and we hurried and buried it in the sand. I hate spiders, more than anything in the world. But it still didn't ruin my day!

If anyone know what kind of spider this is, let me know. I want to know if I was near a deadly spider!!

Annalise warned me to put sunscreen on but stupidly I didn't listen, and of course I got sunburned. I don't think I've gotten a sunburn all summer so I was due for one.

After there lessons we headed home for a snack and right after the snack we headed back to the beach to make some sandcastles. These kids know how to make some good sandcastles! It was a non-stop day and I'm definitely feeling it now. They have so much energy! Only if they could give me some of there's.......
