O.K. I'm getting sick of it. Yesterday I was eating lunch with Maelle-Marie at school when a teacher approached us and asked her what grade she was in. He then asked me what grade I was in. Really? This is like the fifth time someone has assumed I go to that school. I'm 22. I graduated high school five years ago. I am an adult. Just leave me in peace so I can eat lunch with the kids that I watch, because I am MATURE and OLD ENOUGH to do that. :)
Last Friday I was on my way to church for institute on the bus when all of a sudden the bus driver slammed on his brakes and starting honking his horn. He jumped out of the bus and starting yelling at some dude who apparently almost hit us. The only thing I understood that he said was, "C'est ne possible pas!!" Which is, "It's not possible." I have no idea whose fault it was but before I knew it we were back on the road and I made it to institute safely.
I found out some super good news and I'm freaking out about it. On Saturday I will be going to PARIS!!!! I cannot wait. I will be in Paris all day Saturday....unfortunately I will be alone. But I will have a map and a phone just in case I get lost. Which most likely I will. So, for all those that have been to Paris I need to figure out what I can do in a day and where the best places to go are. So give me your opinions, s'il vous plait! I really want to go to the Eiffel Tower but I always pictured myself going with someone else, so I might wait on that one. Basically I want to share my excitement with someone else. Also, I don't like taking pictures of myself.
Next Monday I start my cooking class. I'm so excited! But also pretty nervous. Let me tell you why. So the kids dad went to a really nice, high class restaurant for business and he found out that they were giving cooking lessons once a month. So he talked to the chef and he said that I would be able to take the lessons. So first of all, it will be in French. I plan on just looking at what everyone else is doing and follow along. Second, it's super nice food. It's not like I'm going to make a baked potato or spaghetti. Thirdly, I'm not a cook. I can usually follow a recipe just fine but still I manage to somehow make it too runny or too lumpy, etc. Fourthly, did I mention it's in French?
Je n'aime pas quand des personnes penser je ne suis pas vingt-deux ans!

My absolute favorite church in Paris is St. Chapelle. It's one of the only churches left that wasn't stripped from the war. All the colorful walls plus the stained glass are incredible!!! Also, if you want the best French onion soup ever, Cafe Ruc, its across the street from the Louvre. So jealous!! Have fun!!!!
hey brooke i rode my bike past your house last night.
